I find that multitasking allows me to do a mediocre job on several tasks. Contrast this with monotasking (or working on one thing at a time), which forces me to focus all of my energy on one task, and results in a better outcome. I leave the multitasking to my computer. I definitely understand what you mean, and I struggle with this a lot when it comes to working online. There are ALWAYS other things that I could be doing, so I often multitask trying to learn this and learn that while putting this site together and marketing something else.
