While I have very strong political views and support one of the presidential candidates, I prefer not to discuss it on PFI. There are two things that I will never purposely discuss on this site. The first is politics and the second is religion. Those are two things that I find difficult to discuss with family, friends, co-worker’s, and fellow bloggers. While I think it is everyone’s right to openly discuss their beliefs and opinions, I prefer to keep my opinions to myself. I guess it is just part of who I am. The important thing to keep in mind is to vote, regardless of the candidate that you support!

Articles I liked this week
Here are some of the articles I enjoyed reading over the past week -
1 – Dawn at Fighting Foreclosure gives us a tip on frugal entertainment. Since our entertainment budget is basically $0, this may be a nice idea to check out. I always prefer using the local library to rent free movies for the family.
2 – The Simple Dollar provides us with a list of ways to winterize your home to save on your heating bill. For additional money savings tips – check out my eHow article How to save money on utility bills
3 – Free From Broke gives us a run down on understanding how the Federal Funds interest rate affects your savings.
4 – Almost Frugal posts some frugal tips on creating your own wrapping paper. I think I am going to let my 4-year old son do this for the upcoming holiday season.
Have an excellent week!

Religion and politics is tricky ground. You have to really know the people you are discussing it with. I also try to stay away from those topics.
Thanks for the mentions!
