photo credit: alcommWelcome to PFI and the weekly updates – The Time Management Edition. Last week I wrote a post about my personal keys to creating passive income. One of those keys listed was time management. In order to create many streams of income, you must manage what little time you have to be the most efficient in your work. I noted in my post that I was struggling finding the time to maintain PFI, handling my current job situation, spending time with my wife and kids, not to mention any other types of activity. As a personal time saving move, I am going to scale down on writing any sponsored post articles for the time being. This will save me a few hours per week and was something I had planned on doing anyways. I will make use of this extra time to focus strictly on maintaining this site as well writing more articles for eHow. Speaking of eHow, I just purchased the eBook from WriterGig to pick up some useful tips on generating residual income from eHow. If you have any interest in being successful writing for eHow, I would highly recommend it!
My original plan was to include sponsored posts on my site to generate some extra income while I was working to grow PFI. Recently, I have been able to add a few more income generating advertisements to my site which has also helped me decide to stop writing sponsored posts. I have been using the income from these posts to add to our short-term emergency fund in wake of the struggling economy.
Thank You!
I also wanted to extend a thank you to The Simple Dollar for linking to my post – Turn Frugal Behaviors into a Game. This link drove a ton of traffic to my site and increased my readership. It is amazing to see the power of an established blog. I can only hope that I achieve the success of The Simple Dollar someday. I would also like to thank all the other bloggers and sites for linking to my articles and thinking I have worthwhile material.

Thank you for linking back to the Carnival of Personal Finance! I liked your Walmart article. Seems there is a price to pay for these cheap deals and the price is humanity.
