Carnivals
August 11, 2008 – After taking a few weeks off, I had an article included in the Carnival of Personal Finance #165: College Football Edition hosted by No Debt Plan. I would like to thank No Debt Plan for including my post – Creating Alternative Income Streams in the Carnival. I found the theme to be an excellent choice focusing on the upcoming college football season, which I am looking forward to. Go Blue!
Articles I liked this week
As usual, there were a lot of great articles over the past week on other blogs, but here are a few that I liked the most.
1 – Bible Money Matters posts a step by step guide on how to make money from Cash Crate. Cash Crate is listed as one of my alternative income streams.
2 – LuLuGal at How I Save Money.net continues to pick up the CVS deals for the week.
3 – Money Saving Mom continues to post so many helpful articles on deals and free stuff that I can’t single any out.
4 – The Passive Dad posts about opening up an ING Orange account with a referral bonus. I took advantage of the offer and opened up an account ang got the $25 bonus! I hope to use this account solely for depositing online income that I bring in.

Thanks for the link.. How’s cash crate going – have you been able to get some of those pending offers to move over to completed yet? Are you referring any new users over – that seems to be where a bulk of the money is..

Cash crate is going ok. Not much action. I was trying to only put in my email address and got a couple refunds on that but it has stopped cold for about two weeks. I am going to try some of your recommendations.
