Welcome to PFI and the weekly updates – The Earth Day Edition. Since today is Earth Day, I thought I would highlight the topic for this weeks PFI Updates post. How are your Earth Week Activities coming along?
I don’t have any political agenda by promoting Earth Day and posting related topics on PFI. However, I think it is important to get the word out about how practicing green living techniques can save you money, while at the same time helping our environment. I also want this planet to be a safe and healthy environment for my children to grow up in as well as their children someday. We only have one planet and I see no reason to junk it all up! Try and change one behavior in your life today that will make a difference!
Personal Finance Blog of the Week
As part of my effort to meet my personal finance goals for 2009, I plan to visit other personal finance blogs and help promote the good ones anyway I can. Each week I will write a short review of a site that I believe is worthwhile checking out.
- Christian Personal Finance – This blog has a focus on personal finance with a Christian theme. While I try to keep politics and religion out of my posts here on PFI, I believe this site has some really great information. I especially like a recent post titled – How I make a living from my blog. This post is a great summary of how to start a blog with the intention of making money from it. I would recommend it to anyone starting out as well as experienced bloggers. Go check out some of the great posts on Christian PF today!
Carnivals
I participated in the following carnivals over the past week. Please check out some of the great reads from these carnivals!

- The Money Hacks Carnival #60: The File Your Tax Return Edition – (Apr. 15, 2009) 6 Benefits of Passive Income not Related to Money – hosted by Consumer Boomer.
