photo credit: vgm8383Welcome to PFI and the weekly updates. As everyone is well aware of by now, the federal bailout was voted down yesterday and we saw the largest single day point drop ever on the Dow Jones. The banking and housing sectors are in disarray and the economic slowdown will more than likely begin to trickle down to the rest of the economy. This will probably mean job cuts and reduce spending over the next several quarters. I don’t think it is time to panic and paint a doom and gloom picture. However, now is the time to plan ahead and be conscious of what is going on with our economy. I mention it almost everyday on PFI, but you really need to think about diversifying your income the same way you should with your investments. There is an excellent article over at Moolanomy that provides and extra income guide to help get you started.
