Looking for a Car Loan

by passivefamilyincome on September 26, 2008

My wife and I have always preferred to own one car and lease another. Leasing is not typically a very frugal activity, but one that I can accept when it comes to our family vehicle. I like the feeling of safety when it comes to a new car. Our current Ford lease is up at the end of the year on our Freestyle. So the other day, we decided to go out and start looking. We were amazed when we got to the dealership and they told us that the Big 3 does not really lease anymore. I guess it actually makes sense when you think about the shape of the auto industry and our economy. It will just be a change for us as I have had a leased vehicle for over the past 15 years!

We have now switched our focus from a leased vehicle to purchasing one. Whether we decide to purchase a new or used vehicle, we will now be in the market for a Car Loan. This is something that we are not use to. Our other car we purchased from the dealership when they had 0% financing soon after 9/11.

When it comes to choosing a lender and finding the best auto loan rates, there are many companies to choose from. Car Loans Made Simple is a nationwide online car loan service that offers quick credit approvals for customers with good or bad credit. They offer New Car Loans using a simple online service.

Seriously, several friends of mine right after college needed auto loans and instead of going to lending tree or the other big companies, they applied online to various places. My friend Scott actually moved to Hawaii and thought there was no chance any company would respond to him out there but actually about 3-4 places did (and he just got married which added to his pressures hah) - He didnt realize that Hawaii is actually a State, not its own country!

Check out 1CarCash’s <Hawaii Bad Credit Car Loans page. I would say if you live in hawaii and dont know what place to contact, try them out.
I havent used them but I know they responded to my friend quickly. Also try a few other places for car loans at the same time for low rates. its tough sometimes doing research all day. and at the same time double check your credit history before contacting anyone online.

Well, I keep hearing that buying used is the more economical method when it comes to car. Keep us informed on what you decide to do.
